Los Taco´s Blues Band – Finnish Dynamite

Forssalainen Los Taco´s Blues Band on soittanut muutaman vuoden aikana tiensä erityisesti kaikkien motoristitapahtumien suosikkiesiintyjäksi. Bändin viidestä jäsenestä kolme kulkeekin keikkamatkat omilla Harley- Davidson moottoripyörillään - loppujoukon taittaessa matkat originaalilla Oldsmobile -58 eighty-eightillä. Los Taco´sin ohjelmisto koostuu tutuista ja tuntemattomammista blues- ja rythm´n blues kappaleista höystettynä laulaja-harpisti Lars Lembergin omintakeisen karhealla laulusaundilla.

Lukuisten klubikeikkojen lisäksi LTBB on vakiovieras vuotuisessa Augustibluus-tapahtumassa Eestissä ja kolmas Saksan-kiertue on luvassa jälleen ensi syksynä. Bändiä kovasti fanittavat saksalaiset ovat antaneet ryhmälle lisänimen ”Finnish Dynamite”. Suomalaisista moottoripyörätapahtumista mm. HD Super rally ja HDCF:n päärallit ovat tulleet bändille tutuiksi.

Vuonna -09 ilmestynyt ”Viva Los Taco´s” -levy sai innostuneen vastaanoton sekä mainiot arvostelut, joista ohessa lainauksia Blues News -lehdestä.

”Levyllä huomio kiinnittyy Lars Lembergin tyyliin sopivaan lauluääneen ja harppusoundiin. Etenkin hitaalla kitaran, harpun ja urkujen yhteistyötä esittelevällä kuutosraidalla laulusolistin suoritus on loistava”

” Eipä muukaan bändi Lembergiä huonommaksi jää. Kompista huolen pitävät basisti Jari Eerola ja rumpali Keijo Koski hoitavat tonttinsa mallikkaasti. Los Taco’s Blues Band – Finnish Dynamite

Los Taco’s Blues Band from Forssa in Southern Finland has, within a few years, played its way to become the most popular act, particularly at bikers’ events. Three of the band ride their own Harleys to the gigs – the rest making their way in a classic Oldsmobile 58 eighty-eight. Los Taco’s’ repertoire consists of well-known blues covers as well as less familiar rhythm and blues songs. The singer and mouth organist Lars Lemberg’s rough voice gives the band an individual sound.

As well as a busy schedule of club gigs, Los Taco’s are regular guest artists at the annual Augustibluus Festival in Estonia. In the Autumn, they will return to Germany for their third tour. Their keen German fans have given them the nickname ‘Finnish Dynamite’! On home ground, Los Taco’s have been playing at several bikers’ events such as the HD Super Rally and HDCF’s main rally.

In 2009 the band’s record ‘Viva Los Taco’s’ got an enthusiastic response and some fantastic reviews. Here are a few quotes from the Blues News magazine:

‘The attention is drawn to Lars Lemberg’s voice and the sound of his mouth organ, which are perfect for the style. On the slow track 6 in particular, which displays the wonderful collaboration between guitar, mouth organ and organ, his vocals are fabulous.’
